Admission Procedure

The students are advised to follow the procedure given below as prescribed by DOST for getting admitted into their desired Degree Course.

Process of Admission

Verify and link your mobile no. with aadhaar, name, gender and date of birth as per SSC/Intermediate Certificate, well in advance.

Visit DOST at https://dost.cgg.gov.in

Register by paying with prescribed fee, OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar linked mobile number.

DOST ID will be generated based on your information provided and this will be valid and referred to till the process of admis-sion is completed. Admissions will be made in phase wise.

Documents required for Admissions

Aadhar number and linked mobile number, colour photograph and latest Income Certificate.
If applicable,

• Caste Certificate
• Sports Certificate
• N.C.C. Certificate
• Physically Handicapped Certificate
• Ex- Service Men Certificates

Important Suggestions

1. Enter your Aadhaar Number without any mistakes
2. Do not lose your mobile number till you complete the Admission Procedure
3. Choose your web options carefully
4. Do not choose the courses or medium in which you are not interested
5. After paying the course fee ensure that your seat is confirmed Online by the Principal of the College
6. Approach any nearest Help Line Centre to resolve your problems if any

Eligibility

B.Sc.
The candidates who have passed with a minimum of 40% marks in the Intermediate Public Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, T.S. or any other equivalent examination recognized by the UGC. MPC/BiPC with a minimum of 40% marks acquired in the optional subjects are considered as an eligible for admission into B.Sc. I Year in Physical Science and Biological Science.

B.Com
The candidates who have passed the intermediate public examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education T.S. or any other equivalent examination recognized by the UGC are eligible for admitting into I Year B.Com. (Gen) / B.Com. (Comp).

M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry)
Graduates with chemistry as an optional subject.

Attendance

Swami Vivekananda Degree & PG College strictly follows the attendance procedure. The students with less than 75% atten-dance in their theory/practical classes shall NOT be allowed to appear for the University examinations and their examination applications are not forwarded to the University examination branch.

Examination

We will conduct various class tests, unit tests, mid-term tests, and pre-final tests apart from university internal assessment examinations to test our students skills. We will also send the student marks to parents/ guardians to keep track on the student’s progress.
