An Induction Programme for the students of UG 1st year was held on 18 th July 2024 at 10:30 AM, in the Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Auditorium ,Swami Vivekananda Degree & PG College, Mahabubnagar.
The objective of the program was make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the college and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students.
The welcome note was delivered by Ms. Rajeshwari , Vice-Principal of Swami Vivekananda Degree & PG College,Mahabubnagar.
Principal K. Kumara Swamy addressed the students and parents, elaborating on the opportunities facilitated by the college for the students , excellence of the faculty , rules and regulations to be followed by the students , college timing and the significance of learning effective communication in English. In this talk, he focused mainly on the achievements of Swami Vivekananda Degree & PG College, Mahabubnagar.
Dr. K. Raj Kumar, Controller of Examinations , Palamuru University, was the chief guest on the occasion. He shared the concerns of the parents who send their children to a college campus , in the hope that they would emerge successful by the end of the course. He reassured the parents that they have made the right choice by selecting Swami Vivekananda Degree & PG College.
Dr. Syed Ibrahim Khaleel , Director of Swami Vivekananda Degree & PG College, Mahabubnagar, spoke on college facilities. He added that the students should make best use of the avenues provided by the college .
Dr. Heeroji Rao Bhonsle , Dean of Swami Vivekananda Degree & PG College, Mahabubnagar, congratulated the students and welcomed them to the institute. He motivated the students by saying that students are the foundation of any educational institute. He also gave an example of his own experience and said parents should track the status of students .
At the end of the event Ms. Rajeshwari delivered a Vote of thanks.
A general body meeting of the parents and faculty followed the Induction Program.
